With a background in fine art, Sarah Stamp delved into the world of design in 2013 and launched her jewellery line in 2016.
Sarah works with jersey textile yarn that is partly recycled from high-quality fashion fabrics from European textile manufacturers. She also makes her own yarn from unwanted clothing. In the past she has created bespoke commissions using textile yarn created from clothing or fabrics which have sentimental value such as a baby grow or an item of clothing worn on a first date.
After spotting there was a gap in design led jewellery that was suitable for both babies and parents Sarah’s first range of baby-proof jewellery was born. Since this first range, each design has a woman’s name in order to celebrate the individual women who have been part of her journey but also to celebrate the value of all women as a whole.
