Gothic brings together design, craft and fine art that all reflect a renewed interest in the macabre, the exotic, the fantastical and the disturbing across the visual arts. The exhibition combines new works by product designers such as Timorous Beasties, Suck UK, Mixko, Cohda and Stephen Einhorn; makers including Lainie Sless and Claire Johnston; and artists such as Natalie Gale. All of the contributors explore ideas associated with northern Europe romantic art and literature.
