The first major UK solo exhibition of work by the US musical cult legend, presenting over 40 of his drawings alongside early tape covers and rare 7” record sleeves. The exhibition will show drawings from 1981-2006, representing a body of work that links themes in his visual art and music: the alter-ego, fear, innocence, corruption and redemption. 2006 saw the inclusion of his work in the Whitney Biennial and the release of Jeff Feuerzeig’s documentary ‘The Devil and Daniel Johnston’.
